Upon accepting the principles of Eastern Mystical Yoga as embodied by his guru, Neem Karoli Baba, Dr Richard Alpert embarked on journey of transformation into Baba Ram Dass. Be Here Now is the seminal description of that journey, in writing and illustration conveying the mystical experience to the reader. This book played a major influence in my own journey of transformation culminating in complete and full immersion in Yoga (communion with God).
